Well, you've got me hooked. I was not expecting the title to be literal--so the big reveal made me laugh. But it's also a gorgeous panel: tracking down to the bottom of the sea was brilliant. Gorgeous blacks. Now I must know who this guy is and how he got there.

The artwork is intensely beautiful. I love this long chapter page also. The title is designed very well. I also find your use of the third value very pleasing to the eye.

So, I will not vote this comic off the island.

Tim, This is one of the great openers to a comic. Reminds me of a scene from Tintin and the Cigars of the Pharaoh. In a good way.
