I would like to see what your sketch stage is like. I am curious to see if you pencil in complete shapes and then decide what not to draw at the ink stage, or if the pencils have all the negative-space play built in initially.
I don't know how to explain it any better :/

I do thumbnails that are very tight in marker.
Thus, I am forced to draw big black shapes!
Perhaps I could make a post about that on the AIV blog or someplace else. Good idea!
