I like to thank everybody who read, commented, linked and recommended The End is Here. Everything is highly appreciated!!! My special thanx go to all at ACT-I-VATE and Deep 6. It was a pleasure.



Over all the time, I never missed an update. I will take this opportunity to take a little time out from ACT-I-VATE to work on my usual deadlines and new projects.

Stunning final pages! In a way, after all the violence and pathos, this is actually a welcome ending. It's strange to be relieved at the quiet and openness of these last two pages knowing what the cost was to get here.

entertaining, despite the going-nowhere feel in the middle.

i think you steered very well when the end was here, and i think (maybe) i got your experiment...



subjects are affected by elements within their knowledge, and elements far beyond their ability to understand, let alone overcome.

a plot is negligible, event sequence is primary...



another thing, I'm not sure you actually meant, but can be implied -

there is no difference between the brutal natural world, and man-made destruction... it is one and the same.

death is death, and that is always natural.

The can started the whole thing in chapter one. It is the first sign of mankind in the story which never shows any human being. Therefore you can see some symbolism in it, yes.
