I really like your style of repeatedly bludgeoning us with the same set of joke punchlines in different perspective and approaches until it becomes genius. It worked for the original Mugwhump comic and it definitely made Fred genius.
Thanks for noticing! It kind of works the other way around - not so much using repetition for its own sake as knowing where you're going to end up and planting seeds along the way to get a bigger payoff. (Not that I'm necessarily using the technique with any kind of proficiency, but that's the theory.)
Dear sir I know that's how it works (in theory I hear), that's why I'm a really big fan of your works. I just thought saying it in a more depreciating manner would fit your style more.
It's a pain in the arse for someone who is living in the Philippines to hunt down all your American published works (I can only imagine the British ones) but it's all worth the effort.
