The overal mechanics of how these comics are displated detracts from my overall experience.
First, the panel isn't sized so it fits in my window. I see the Activate banner info, then HALF of the comic. That means I have to scroll down every time I turn the page to be able to see the comic.
Second, clicking to get to the next panel gets tiresome. I'm spending more time clicking and scrolling than actually reading the comic.
I think if you sized the comic panels to better fit the browser window (for pretty much all the activate comics I have browsed) and incorporated a dynamic scroll down, so the reader can just scroll through the one page panels, then it would be less distracting for the reader and he would be better able to focus on the comic.
