I like the time travel element - Is that something you added to grab a larger demographic (18-40 year old men who live with their mom's and love all things Star related (e.g. Wars & Trek)? And the unexplained 1313 address? You just blew my mind! Speaking of blowing my mind, is that Herbie the Monster dube that Grace is sparking up at the end?
Actually, I just had a hankering for some family history, and then, well, this happened. Glad you caught 1313, though. I put that in for Steve, but nothing gets by you (if it's been on TV). And I figure Grace is sparking up a Lucky Strike, but I'll put your suggestion in the hat for next time.
6 is my magic number, since I intend these to be 6 panels per page in print--that's the page-turner. Here, it was more like a heart attack, but I'm glad you enjoyed...
I've been away for a couple of months, and I read this and think "why? how could i?" I won't leave you again Grace--I mean, Jen--I promise! Wonderful cosmic-fated welding/melding. The "you don't love me" panel was my fave.
I'm so glad you liked that panel--my fave too, all the accumulated sickness of my family's past in a single panel.
And you're excused for taking time off--could it have been the script-writing, massive deadlines, and new book launch that got in the way? Just don't let it happen again.
