If that really is a high def TV, then there is no need for Rabbit ears. The signal would come via cable or dish. I focus on this unimportant fact because I just don't get this one. Typical guy.
And by the way, just looking doesn't make us a-holes.
As always, thanks for the technical support (a-hole.) Actually, the dollhouse dad does more than look, but I didn't have time to get into it here. And I would like to say that the opinions expressed in this comic are not necessarily shared by the management.
Sometimes he's the brother?? What part of the country do these dollhouse guys live in?
Oops. I didn't say that, no I didn't.
I especially liked panels 10 and 13. Someday I might spring for some hi-def modeling clay myself. The actual hi-def sets are still too pricey for an artist's "salary."
As far as the rabbit ears, trust me -- if we ever do get an HDTV, it will be picking up our roof antenna. The signal only comes from cable or dish if you're willing to pay for it!

Very nice, from the mouths of babes. I like to think that somewhere, in the receding land mass of reddest America, a two-time Bush voter (and pastor in his evangelical church) shed a single, solitary tear and had no idea why.
Brilliant! So much going on in the post-nuclear family. It would take a kid to make any sense of it.
Oh and on the whole Rabbit Ear/HiDef debate , You can totally pick up ABC, CNN and MSNBC with off-air. So Rabbit Ears are still valid. I thus crown myself A-Hole in CHIEF!
Boys, boys, boys. I do think we need to glimpse beneath the technologically fascinating veneer of this comic to the thematic underpinnings which really have to do with a thirteen-year-old girl's omniscient uberfeminine concept of the universe.
And with that, I straighten my panties and open my TV guide.
