I hesitate to call this installment "intense" because of a vicious beating. It's actually more intense because it clearly shows someone having to confront their actions, or rather the consequences of their actions. Very well executed.



The art is a marvel to behold. You've taken these tools and made them your own... as it should be!

Whenever I come back to this story I always have a moment when I think, "Can Rami really pull this off? These wordless panels and noir-ish sensibility, and still tell me a moving, fully-realized story?" (I gotta think like that, being a dialog whore). Then I start clicking through and I find my pulse quickening, my arms tingling, the hair rising on my neck, and by the end I'm exhausted and dazed and I'm like "Yeah, I guess he can."



Brilliant.

OK - this is amazing! Your compositions - on nearly every panel - are gorgeous!! Excellent tension, the entire story has gravity and weight while still being breathtaking to behold. You set a scene like a master!
