Rami- San- God damn it, Sir- I said it once before and I'll say it again- when it comes to Japanese Manga-style art on this web-site- YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!-I went thru this pretty fast tonight- tried to view it as a slow-mo Samurai movie- Just love your style- not sure what all the pretty animal drawings are about- but many of them show typical oriental-inmspired brush work- I dig all the pages with the 4-panel movie -scene setings-the light and shadows- all that extra work with the ?ben-day? shading....You did a Hell of a lot of work here...I'm not sure that the forgiveness theme sets well in a Samruai saga - only one Japanese film comes to mind along those lines that I can remember- "When the Last Sword is Drawn"- Do you know that film? (It can be viewed on HULU.com-I believe...)
Hey Larry, I do appreciate your enthusiasm! It's great that you enjoy it so much. I think it reads even better in print, and the TPB will be available soon for order. I was lots of research about the culture and art, and watched every Japanese film I could find, spanning most decades... "when the Last Sword is Drawn" is a good film. Have you heard of "After the Rain" it also has much to do with forgiveness and letting go.keep reading, the finale is getting closer and the pace is picking up...
