i used get a little nuts with the doorknobs, but had to let it go when my aversion seemed like it was moving toward compulsion.

This is great--so real, so subtle. Love the mom's expression in the last panel, and that we only see the girl's eyes, filling with tears. This has so much personality!

Yeah, you can get like that sometimes with germs, haha. One day leaving the bathroom someone walked out behind me without washing their hands and touched all the railings, I'm pretty cautious of railings now...

People who are paranoid about these things infuriate me. I bite my nails, don't give a shit about touching handles or taps or railings or pretty much anything, and I get sick about twice a year. The more you mollycoddle your immune system, the more vulnerable you become.
