This may be the final portion of the current "Birthday" story, but the ZEGAS saga is far from over. What I've been posting over the past couple of months is essentially a first issue's worth. The ZEGAS series will continue, and although I have many future stories in mind, I anticipate the spontaneous nature of having these characters come to life, post by post. If you can't wait until the next "issue" comes out, there's always the ACT-I-VATE Primer (you may have heard of it, see home page for details)! It features another self contained ZEGAS yarn, rubbing shoulders with some of the finest cartoonists around.
As an addition to the wrap up of the "Birthday" story, I've posted a bunch of ZEGAS related art, sketches and comics over at my webbie debbie sites. You may dig how I try to turn my chicken scratch mess (aka layouts) into a readable comic, or the earliest ZEGAS comic ever: http://michelfiffe.com/
It's been a pleasure to present my latest comic to such a friendly and supportive audience. Many, many thanks for dropping by. It's been a lot of fun and I hope to see you again.
fantastic from start to finish, babe!
the colors, the settings, and especially the characters have all felt living and breathing from page one. don't make us wait too long before beginning the next act, this has become my favorite part of a wednesday.
i thought the ZEGAS print debut [in the AIV PRIMER] was awesome but this online launch was pure diamonds and gold. every panel a pleasure. every page a poster.
Thanks so much for creating this fiffe. Seriously, this is deeply inspiring. Excellent work, and I promise to swipe something from this in the future:)
C'mon, can't you keep this schedule up for the rest of your life? Or at least mine?
This last page is beautiful, but all the pages are beautiful! Always sad to see the end of one of your comics, man...
I just read the whole thing from start to finish again! This is a great comic, I can't understand how you do it. The characters are very real and the artwork is beautiful! When you get famous will you let me say I met you?
