This is the finest page of the bunch. I don't want to make too much of the formal aspects, but this is by far the most "readable" page so far. I think the panels filling the width of the page really helps. Also the silhouettes against that full background really makes it easy to dive into the image.

Nicely done so far; reminds me a bit of if Kyle Baker tried to do Winsor McCay. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

Yes, please stick around! When did Kyle Baker do a McKay riff? His Shadow run is the closest to Nemo-type of consistency.



I recently saw Stuart Immonen's Superman Origin drawn in the Nemo style, though. Amazing.

Hey Michel - I'm really digging all of the qualities going on per page.



The flats and washes, colored vs. "uncolored," the different inking techniques.



Your approach to image-making has little relationships and narratives in itself.

Wow, thank you so much! Without overdoing it, I do want every bit of this comic to mean something, however small. I also wouldn't want all these details to distract from the reading, instead of enhancing it. Your kind words make me feel as if though I'm going in the right direction. Many thanks!
